Fun With Cups

Thursday nights around here is family night. With my husband's job as a music pastor there are a lot of nights that he has meetings or practices so Thursdays we try to make sure that we are all home as a family and have something fun to do together.

A few weeks ago we had some fun with cups. We got this idea from Chris' uncle who did this with his granddaughters. I purchased three bags of 50 red plastic cups. They were just $2 each. The girls had so much fun playing and building. Here are some of the highlights.

Lots of cups!

How it all started.

Getting bigger....

and bigger... "It's as tall as me!"

and finally done.

The fun of knocking the tower down.

A tower just for Macaylee! (To keep her away from her sister's creations.)

Madisen's tower.

One last tower.

One of the things I loved with these cups is that there are not very many block that you can build a tower so high with and not take a lot of storage space. I was able to fit the 150 cups back in two bags which does not take much space at all.

My kiddos love playing with cups too! How is school going? It can take a while to get into a good routine...

Praying all is well, my friend!
