Exciting News!

"The heart of man plans his way; 

but the Lord establishes his steps." 

Proverbs 16:9

Back in November we announced to all of you that we were starting to pursue adoption. We started the process of adopting through foster care. We attended our fist class and started filling out paper work.

Just about a week after attending our first class, we found our that WE ARE PREGNANT!!! We are so excited at the idea of a new little one, Lord willing, joining our family some time around August 12th.

Even though this is not what we were planning for, or expecting, we know that this is how the Lord has chosen, at this time, to add to our family.

We have put our adoption plans on hold, as of now,  and will reconsider and reevaluate adoption in the future. Chris and I still have a heart for adoption and orphan care and look forward to supporting ministries and families who are pursuing adoption.

P.S. March 9th is our next ultra-sound; we will keep you posted as to if this little one is a boy or a girl.
