A Trip To Tennessee

Just over a week ago we arrived home from a trip to Tennessee! We had such a great time! We are so thankful for the time we were able to spend as a family discovering Tennessee together. Here are a few pictures of some of the highlights of the trip!

One of the first things we did upon arriving at our hotel was go swimming. I think this is one of the activities they enjoyed the most! It is hard for them to wait through the long winter until summer comes again and they can once again go swimming!

We also enjoyed a stop at a Krispy Kreme drive-through. It was definitely a special sweet treat!

We made a trip into the into the Smoky Mountians! It was beautiful! We wish we would of had more time to explore and look around, but what we did see was gorgeous! We also got a kick out of the flyer that we were handed as we entered into the park that is pictured below!

We had the special treat of going to the Dixie Stampede. This was a fun dinner show! We got to eat all our food with our fingers while watching a show with lots of horses, singing and dancing! The girls loved it! Macaylee woke up the next morning and told us she did not want to go home because she wanted to go and see the horses again! We all had a great time!

This blog post would not be complete without mentioning and posting a picture of our hotel elevators. The hotel had two elevators one named OTIS 1 and the other OTIS 2. Thanks to Chris' spurring them on, the girls were always eager to see which one they got to ride on, and there was much conversation about these elevators. There was also much talk about the sleeping bears in our rooms' hallway??? They always had to be quiet so as not to wake them! I don't know were this bears sleeping idea came from, but it kept them quite in the hallways, so cute!

I know someone who works for Otis Elevators! Don't know if he had anything to do with the installation of the ones you were in, but maybe. :^)
