It has been so long since I last posted on our blog. Life has been wonderfully full over the last months. I am going to attempt to catch up a bit on what we have been up to over the last few months. I am going to start all the way back in May.

As we finished up our 2011 and 2012 school year, I was reaching week 26 in my pregnancy. That is when the braxton hick contractions started. I was really hoping to not have as many complications as I did with Mason's pregnancy. I was thankful that I did not have as much swelling and that the contractions were just starting, but we still did not want to end up in the hospital at 27 weeks with a baby coming. My doctor started me on oral medication and weekly shots. These medications still did not do a good job keeping the contraction at bay and so I started the many weeks of bed rest. Our goal was to make it to 36 weeks. My doctor wanted me to cut out all that I could, not an easy task for a mom of three little girls. And this is how our summer started.
