Then we moved to makeup and tutus. We made tutus for each of the girls using this pattern, and they had fun dressing up and putting on some makeup.
~~~
Next we read the poem Ballerina Ballerina as the girls did all the different moves. We also played ballet musical chairs, with markers on the floor instead of chairs.
~~~
Then it was off to lunch. Madisen loves sandwiches so we had peanut butter and honey, meat and cheese, egg salad, and chicken salad sandwiches. I will be sure to share the chicken salad sandwich recipe soon, they were delicious. With the sandwiches we also served carrots and cucumbers with ranch dip, layered jello, crackers and cheese dip and fruit cups. (Sorry I did not get any pictures of lunch).
~~~
We also enjoyed a game of pin the tutu on the ballerina and hot potato using a little pink bear as the potato.
~~~
Then it was time for present opening

All fun things have to come to an end and each girl went home with a little party favor bag.
We had a lot of fun! This will definitely not be an every year event as I just do not have enough time to through a birthday party like this for each of my girls every year. On each of our girl's 5th birthday we will throw a party that they can invite their friends too. Miriam is next and she is already planning her party.
