When our son Mason died, the hospital gave us a bag of his personal items, a memory box, pamphlets and a book. The book included in this bag was a beautiful picture book that had many Scripture passages in it. Chris and I were thankful to see that the hospital would give out a book that would help point parents, who had just lost a baby, to God and His Word.
Well, this got us thinking...... Would the hospital accept and give out a book like "Safe In The Arms of God" if donated? How wonderful would it be for parents to be comforted with the truth of the Scriptures knowing that there baby is safe in heaven all the while being challenged to embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
We contacted the hospital and to our delight (and surprise) they said that they would love to receive a donation of books!!!!
And that is how.........
was started.
"Grace to You" so graciously donated our first 120 copies of "Safe In the Arms of God" to give to St. Vincent Woman's Hospital. These 120 books will supply them for one year. In recent weeks we have contacted another hospital, the hospital where Mason was actually born (before being transported to St. Vincent Women's Hospital), and they are also open to us donating books.
Within each book, on the first inside page, we've placed a beautiful label that someone from our church so generously designed. Along with other information, this label will direct people to our 4 Days To Eternity blog.

We would love for all of you to keep this ministry in mind. If you know of anyone who has lost a baby, please send them to 4 Days To Eternity and tell them to request a book. We would love to have the opportunity to reach out to them by sending them a book and by praying for them.

It is our prayer that this outreach would grow and expand as the Lord sees fit. If any of you have any connections at any hospitals, please let us know, as we would love to see this outreach expanded to as many hospitals as are willing to give this book to grieving parents.

all things to work together for good
to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His purpose."
