Nina, Pinta, & Santa Maria

This year we will be studying US history, using Adventures in My Fathers World. We have greatly enjoyed these last two weeks learning about Leif Ericson and Christopher Columbus! Last week during our Columbus study we made three boats, the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. Here are a few pictures of the fun!

Adding the mast to the ship.

They loved that there was three boats and three of them! They each had their own.

They wanted a big ocean to sail them on, so the master bathroom tub was picked.

Watching their ships sail!

Hi! I am stopping by from the MFW Blogroll and co-hosting the My Father's World Homeschool Highlights this school year with Kathi @ A Heart Like Water. This is where MFW families connect weekly, or as often as you like, to share what we are doing in our schools. The first one is Aug 25, the info is on my blog. I hope you join us!
